Structural AutoCAD Designer
Location: Houston, TX 77056 (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Summary:
Structural Designer responsible for creating structural design drawings from concept to construction using AutoCAD and AVEVA (E3D), supporting engineering teams, and ensuring adherence to standards, codes, and project requirements.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop structural design drawings using AutoCAD, AVEVA (E3D), Navisworks.
- Set up and prepare CAD files; create plans/details from sketches and redlines.
- Coordinate with Lead Structural Engineer and cross-discipline teams.
- Ensure compliance with design standards, codes, and QC procedures.
- Maintain and improve CAD/AVEVA (E3D) standards and project models.
- Support project schedules, scopes, budgets, and documentation.
- Perform additional design and coordination tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Drafting or equivalent experience.
- 10 years structural design experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, AVEVA/E3D, MS Office.
- Strong communication, detail-orientation, teamwork, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective time-management and adaptability to project changes.
Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
