The Role at a Glance:
The material handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and handling of products and materials between the warehouse and the processing floor.
How You’ll Create Greater Impact:
In this role, you’ll help deliver the highest quality product while upholding our unwavering commitment to animal welfare, food safety, and responsible farming. You’ll act boldly, embrace continuous improvement, and partner with teammates and customers to deliver wins.
- Operates material handling equipment including manual and electric pallet jacks, forklifts, carts, etc.
- Moves product and materials between the warehouse and the processing floor, ensuring a smooth flow and avoiding delays or line shutdowns.
- Ensure departments have what they need, when they need it.
- Ensures the correct products or materials are pulled from the warehouse and finished goods or materials are delivered to the correct pallet or rack spaces.
- Maintains accurate counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Scans items using scan gun and adjust counts in inventory tracking system.
- Notifies management of any potential issues.

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in a processing environment preferred
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Frequent lifting up to 35-50 pounds
- Extended periods of time standing and walking
- Frequent repetitive reaching motion with both arms
- Frequent grasping with hands and fingers
- Frequent bending and stooping
- Ability to keep up in fast-paced environment
- 2 years material handling preferred
Work Schedule & Hours:
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:30 PM – 5:00 AM
- Shifts up to 12 hours per day, based on operational needs
- Start and end times may vary due to truck arrivals, order fulfillment, machine downtime, or production changes
- Flexibility required to adjust schedule as needed
