What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media & Customer Service Assistant position at All Island Comfort?
We are a growing multi-service company serving residential and commercial customers throughout Long Island and the Tri-State area. Our services include HVAC, heating, plumbing, fuel delivery, construction, and facility maintenance. We are looking for a motivated, creative, and organized individual to join our team.
This is a 100% in-office position. The successful candidate will work from our Wading River office and occasionally travel to job sites throughout Long Island to capture photos and videos of completed projects.
ResponsibilitiesSocial Media & Marketing
- Visit job sites to capture high-quality photos and videos of our work.
- Edit videos and create engaging content for YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, and other social media platforms.
- Create posts, write captions, and schedule content.
- Help grow our online presence and increase customer engagement.
- Monitor social media accounts and respond to comments or messages when needed.
- Assist with marketing campaigns and promotional ideas.
Customer Service & Office Support
- Answer incoming customer calls professionally.
- Schedule appointments and assist with dispatching.
- Process customer payments.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate customer records.
- Assist with estimates, invoices, and other administrative tasks.
- Support the office team during busy periods and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Experience with social media content creation and video editing.
- Familiarity with YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit.
- Experience using CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere, or similar editing software.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Organized, dependable, and able to multitask.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation for local travel to job sites.
Preferred Qualifications
- Photography or videography experience.
- Experience with Meta Business Suite or other social media management tools.
- Experience in customer service, dispatching, or office administration.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, construction, or home services is a plus, but not required.
