All Is Well Holistic Spa is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Spa Manager to join our growing team. We are a wellness-focused holistic spa known for exceptional service and a peaceful, professional environment.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, service-driven leader with front desk experience in the spa or wellness industry.
Compensation
- Training Period: 2 weeks--$15-$18/hour (Depending on experience)
- Post-Training Pay: $18–$20/hour (based on performance during the training period) plus commission and bonuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations and assist the Spa Director
- Lead and manage front desk staff; provide guidance and training
- Ensure a smooth, high-quality guest experience from check-in to check-out
- Manage bookings, payments, and client interactions using Meevo or similar spa POS systems
- Promote and sell memberships, packages, and retail products
- Monitor and assist with team scheduling and daily reporting
- Uphold spa cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness
Required Qualifications
These should reflect non-negotiable skills or experience:
- Minimum 1 year of front desk or reception experience in a spa, wellness center, or salon
- Experience with Meevo or other professional spa POS systems
- Experience in selling memberships, packages, or retail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to lead, train, and supervise front desk staff
- Proficient in scheduling, calendar management, and appointment flow
- Reliable, punctual, and available for evening/weekend shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
These are nice to have and will help you evaluate candidates who can grow into a long-term leadership role:
- 1 years experience in a spa leadership or assistant management position
- Knowledge of holistic wellness services or massage/facial terminology
- Background in hospitality, retail management, or customer service leadership
- Familiarity with inventory management and retail display setup
- Basic reporting or administrative skills (daily revenue, team performance)
- Conflict resolution or customer service recovery experience
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or health & wellness
