Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and conduct volleyball practices and training sessions
- Develop and implement effective coaching strategies to improve players' skills and performance
- Provide guidance and support to players during games and competitions
- Teach proper techniques, rules, and strategies of the game
- Create a positive and inclusive team environment
- Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline among players
- Monitor player progress and provide feedback for improvement
- Coordinate with other coaches and staff members to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience coaching volleyball or playing at a competitive level
- Strong knowledge of volleyball rules, techniques, and strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively work with students of different ages and skill levels
- Passion for teaching and developing young athletes
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
Note: Experience in behavior management, judo, physical education, martial arts, cheerleading, childcare, swimming, basketball, or karate can be beneficial but not required for this position.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 per week
