Job Summary

All in Us Movers, LLC is looking for dependable, hardworking part-time moving helpers to join our team in Fargo, ND! Join our dynamic team as an Independent Contractor/Part-Time Moving Helper and be a vital part of helping clients transition smoothly to their new spaces! This energetic role involves assisting with loading, unloading, pack, wrap, and protect belongings, clean, organize belongings efficiently and safely. You’ll work flexible hours while gaining valuable experience in logistics, materials handling, and teamwork. All roles are paid, ensuring your effort is recognized and rewarded.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading furniture, boxes, wrap and other household or office items using proper lifting techniques.
• Wrap and unwrap household or office items.
• Help organize items within trucks or storage areas to maximize space and ensure safe transport.
• Use manual handling equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to move heavy or bulky items efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of moving tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools and equipment after use.
• Follow safety guidelines including OSHA standards and company policies during all moving activities.
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
• Previous warehouse experience or construction background is advantageous for understanding materials handling.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations such as inventory management, order picking, shipping & receiving, and warehouse management systems.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks, crane operations, and material handling equipment like pallet jacks.
• Strong manual handling skills combined with basic math for measuring and counting items accurately.
• Mechanical knowledge or experience operating RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety protocols including OSHA regulations for heavy lifting and equipment operation.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, load & unload tasks, and working on your feet for extended periods.
