We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and air brake components using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on construction machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and other heavy equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently to minimize downtime through mechanical repairs, welding, fabrication, and component replacements.
- Service and repair farm machinery and industrial equipment with a focus on diesel engine repair and electrical diagnostics.
- Conduct alignment checks, suspension repairs, brake repairs, tire services, and HVAC system maintenance to ensure safety standards are met.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software to complete repairs accurately.
- Follow OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines for parts replacement and maintenance procedures while maintaining detailed service records.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks and operate heavy equipment safely during servicing or repair activities.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair findings clearly and advising on proper maintenance practices.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic with dealership experience preferred.
- Strong background in construction equipment servicing including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and other heavy machinery.
- Skilled in electrical diagnostics for complex systems such as HVAC units, electrical wiring harnesses, sensors, and schematics interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics related to diesel engines and transmissions.
- Knowledge of hydraulics systems, suspension components, air brakes, wheel alignments, tire service, welding techniques, and fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is advantageous to better understand machinery performance issues.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately for troubleshooting purposes.
- Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to use a variety of tools including power tools and specialized diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on equipment troubleshooting and preventative maintenance strategies.

Pay: $29.50 - $45.50 per hour
