Mortgage Loan Processor

Are you passionate about helping others find security in their journey to owning a home? As the Mortgage Loan Processor, you will play an integral role in ensuring the loan process meets industry established standards within the loan application process. 

 This position is based out of Dothan at the Montgomery Hwy Branch and is not eligible for remote work. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Consistently maintains a professional, respectful, and courteous approach when interacting with member/owners and internal contacts to maintain quality service.
• Responds to member/owner regarding loan process status or underwriting decision via telephone, or in person, following up with any necessary documentation or information.
• Compiles information, prepares required reports, and ensures timely delivery of reports to appropriate department.
• Analyzes reports in order to monitor accuracy.  Addresses any discrepancies with appropriate party in a timely manner.
• Processes mortgage loans to secondary market guidelines by preparing it and submitting it to underwriting, clearing conditions, and then submitting for finalization.
• Maintains all mortgage files by updating paperwork and keeping track of locations to ensure that information is current.
• Demonstrates effective face to face communications, telephone interaction, and written communications.  
• Communicates and corresponds with the appropriate external contacts in order to retrieve needed information.

What You bring to the team:   

EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years mortgage processing experience preferred, personal computer using Windows based system.

This position is base salary commission.
