Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Handyman to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled technician who takes ownership of their work, communicates professionally with clients, and can represent our company with integrity on every job site.
The Lead Handyman performs a wide variety of repair and remodeling tasks while identifying opportunities to serve clients through additional recommended services when appropriate.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality residential and commercial handyman services, including:
- Drywall repair and finishing
- Door installation and framing
- Painting, trim, and general carpentry
- Furniture, fixture, and décor installation
- Light plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding scope of work, timelines, and pricing
- Identify and recommend additional services based on legitimate client needs
- Finalize invoices and process payments on-site
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle (if assigned)
- Use company mobile software for scheduling, time tracking, documentation, and communication
- Occasionally mentor or assist in training junior technicians
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of handyman, maintenance, or remodeling experience
- Commercial project experience (office, retail, light industrial) required
- Proficiency in drywall, carpentry, door installation, and light MEP trades
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers and team members
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must reside in the Dallas area with reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Trade certifications (carpentry, HVAC, electrical, etc.) are a plus

- $25.00 – $35.00 per hour (based on experience and skill level)

Schedule
- 8-hour shifts
- Monday – Friday
