Responsibilities
- Install solar panels, inverters, wiring, and related electrical components following blueprints and schematics with precision.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on solar PV systems, including inverters and battery storage.
- Troublesoot and fix performance and equipment issues.
- Inspect sites and systems to make sure everything meets safety and quality standards.
- Keep clear records of all work and system performance.
- Work closely with the installation team to provide technical support when needed.
- Stay up to date on solar technology and best practices.
- Some overnight travel will be expected.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical or electrical certifications are a bonus)
- 1-2 years of experience in solar installation or maintenance.
- Good understanding of electrical systems and NEC codes.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols and quality assurance.
- NABCEP certification is preferred but not required
- OSHA 10 or 30 cetification is preferred but not required
