What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN position at All Home Care Services?
Needed in Three Rivers, Costantine, Cassopolis, Marcellus, Edwardsburg
At All Home Care Services we pride ourselves in taking care of those in need. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your duties will include but not limited to:
- Administering medications, taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure), and assisting with basic hygiene and mobility.
- Observing patients for changes in their condition, reporting any concerns to RNs or physicians, and documenting observations.
- Helping patients with activities of daily living, such as eating, bathing, and dressing, and assisting with procedures like dressing changes and catheter care.
- Providing simple instructions to patients and their families about medications, wound care, and other aspects of their care.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication administration records, vital signs, and other observations.
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as RNs, physicians, and therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Adhering to infection control protocols, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
