Physical Therapist Assistant Murfreesboro, TN

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, manage pain, and restore function through individualized treatment plans.

• Provide physical therapy treatments as outlined in the patient's plan of care


• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, functional mobility, and balance activities


• Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist


• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and mobility techniques


• Document daily treatment notes accurately and in a timely manner


• Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment


• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to support patient outcomes


• Adhere to all state, federal, and facility guidelines and regulations

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of Tennessee


• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program


• Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and patient care principles


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently while following physical therapist directives


• Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including assisting patients with movement and transfers

• Prior experience in outpatient, inpatient, skilled nursing, home health, or rehabilitation settings


• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems


• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
