We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in the Antioch/Smyrna area. The ideal candidate will provide high‑quality nursing care while supporting patients' physical, emotional, and clinical needs in a professional and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient symptoms, and changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and state regulations
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in electronic health systems
- Assist with patient assessments, care plans, and daily nursing tasks
- Support infection control standards and follow facility policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Promote a safe, respectful, and patient‑centered care environment
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Tennessee
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including standing, lifting, and patient assistance
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in long‑term care, assisted living, clinic, or outpatient settings
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR systems)
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
