LVN- up to $53 an hour (after orientation)
***Must have 1yr of continuous experience within the last 3yrs.***
***Must be available for all shifts.***
The qualified candidate will need to submit the following documents by fax or email:
1. Updated Resume W/Current Contact Info, Month/Year and Name/Number of Supervisors for each work experience.
2. Three References needed (Two Professional, One Personal)
3. Clear and Legible Copy Applicable Medical License or Certificate
4. Clear and Legible Copy of CPR (Front and Back - Must be American Heart Association)
5. TB within 30 Days If Accepted by Facility.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Perform triage assessments to determine the urgency of patient needs
- Assist with tube feeding and other specialized procedures
- Collect and process laboratory specimens for testing
- Utilize electronic medical record systems such as Athenahealth to document patient information accurately
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
Requirements:
- Valid license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of CA
- Experience in pediatrics, acute care, or a similar setting is preferred
- Proficiency in medication administration and phlebotomy techniques
- Knowledge of common medical conditions and treatments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record keeping
