Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to infants, children, and adolescents, ensure continuity of care, maintain excellent communication with families, and collaborate closely with physicians and staff.
Duties
- Perform routine well-child visits, sick visits, and follow-up care
- Conduct physical exams, developmental screenings, and immunizations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with pediatricians, medical assistants, and support staff to ensure high-quality care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, practice protocols, and regulatory standards
- Provide patient-centered, culturally sensitive care at all times
Experience
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of NJ
- Board Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-PC or PPCNP-BC)
- Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- BLS and PALS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous pediatric experience mandatory
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and patient-care skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
