Who are we?
All Gutter Systems is a West Michigan-based rain gutter company and we have been working in the local area for 35 years. We offer services such as K-style seamless gutters, gutter covers, drain tile, and gutter cleanings alongside specialty work such as half round and copper gutter installations. We use our own installers for all our work; we do not subcontract.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for candidates with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to perform work up to three stories on homes as required. Experience in construction, siding, gutter installation, or sheet metal work is very helpful, but not required. We are always willing to train.
What do Assistant Installers do?
- Work with crew leaders to create custom gutter installations, using the required tools for installations.
- Work a minimum of 40 hours per week year-round. Overtime and weekends are worked as needed. Weekend work (Saturdays) is required approximately 25% of the year.
- Be ready to constantly learn from experienced crew leaders on the job and become a crew leader in training. Quality individuals will be promoted as skills and availability allow.
What Skills/Qualifications Are Needed?
- The ability to drive, or ride, in a company truck and trailer. A clean driving record is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders most of the day.
- Ability to correctly use, or learn to use, tools needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist crew leaders in the installation of gutter systems using required tools and materials.
- Follow the direction and training of the lead installer on the project.
- Communicate with office staff, homeowners, contractors, etc., as needed during the installation process.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials from trailers.
- Safely drive company truck and trailer to/from jobsites as needed.
