What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Infant/Toddler Teacher M-F 9:00 am - 5:30 pm position at All God's Children Daycare Center LLC?
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Daycare Teacher to join our team. This position is responsible for providing care to children who are 1 and 2 years old. This position requires frequent lifting, bending, cleaning, and diaper changing.
All staff are required to pass a state and federal child care background check, obtain a physical from a physician, and complete mandatory child care trainings annually.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and be able to provide a safe, nurturing environment for them to learn and grow. Responsibilities include supervising playtime, mealtime, and naptime, as well as helping children with their daily needs, including diaper changing and potty training. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, be patient and understanding, and be able to maintain a positive attitude in all situations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Assist in the development of children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
- Communicate with parents and guardians about their child's progress.
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in the classroom.
- Ensure that all classroom materials are up to date and appropriate for the age group.
Minimum Requirements:
- must be at least 18 years old
- must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- must have own transportation
- must be authorized to work in the United States
