Sr. Project Manager

Brief Description

The Sr. Project Manager plans, organizes, and oversees projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards, acting as a leader and communicator for the project team and stakeholders. The Project Manager reports to the Vice President of Engineering and Quality.

Essential Job Duties

Planning and Organization:

• Defining Project Scope: Collaborating with stakeholders to clearly define project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
• Developing Project Plans: Creating detailed plans that outline tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Identifying Risks and Mitigation Strategies: Anticipating potential problems and developing plans to address them.
• Managing Project Resources: Allocating and managing resources (people, equipment, budget) effectively.
  
  

Execution And Monitoring

• Leading and Motivating the Team: Guiding and supporting the project team to achieve their goals.
• Tracking Progress and Reporting: Monitoring project progress against the plan and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Managing Changes and Issues: Addressing unexpected issues and changes to the project scope or timeline.
• Ensuring Quality: Monitoring the quality of deliverables and ensuring they meet the required standards.
  
  

Communication And Stakeholder Management

• Maintaining Open Communication: Keeping stakeholders informed about project status, progress, and any issues that arise.
• Managing Stakeholder Expectations: Addressing stakeholder concerns and ensuring they are satisfied with the project outcomes.
• Building Relationships: Fostering strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  
  

Project Closure

• Documenting Lessons Learned: Identifying what went well and what could be improved for future projects.
• Ensuring Project Completion: Finalizing all project deliverables and ensuring that all tasks are completed.
• Closing the Project: Officially closing the project and ensuring that all resources are released.
  
  

Education

• Degree in Engineering, Sciences, or Business
• Advanced degree in Engineering or Business preferred
  
  

Experience And/or Training

• Managing teams of Engineers
• Prefer 10 years of product and/or manufacturing experience
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Circuit experience preferred
  
  

Licenses/Certifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt
  
  

Technology/Equipment

• Working knowledge of project management software preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  
  

Travel

• Travel between All Flex Solutions facilities
• Travel to equipment vendors
  
  

Additional Skill Set

• Knowledge and understanding of concepts, contents, and application of ISO 9100 and AS9100.
• Must demonstrate tact and good judgement in handling difficult environments
  
  

We offer a competitive base salary in the $125,000 to $150,00 range, based on experience and qualifications, along with annual bonus and profit-sharing opportunities tied to performance.
