Looking for reliable people who want to make extra money this winter working on our snow removal crew.

A typical snow event provides approximately 5–8 hours of work.

When approximately 1.5" or more of snow has accumulated, we will text/call you when it is time to report to work.

Snow is unpredictable, so we cannot guarantee a specific number of snow events or hours for the season. However, this is an excellent opportunity to earn $25–$35/hour when snow removal work is needed.

* How the Job Works

When approximately 1.5" or more of snow has accumulated, we will text/call you when it is time to report to work.

A typical snow event will involve approximately 5–8 hours of work, although actual hours will depend on the amount and timing of the snowfall.

Snow event → We contact you → You report to Palatine → Work 5–8 hours → Get paid $25–$35/hour

The number of snow events varies from winter to winter. Because snowfall is unpredictable, we cannot guarantee a specific number of work days or hours.

Because snow events are unpredictable, you must be able to work when contacted for snow removal.

* $50/HOUR HOLIDAY PAY

If a snow event requires you to work on:

• Christmas Eve
• Christmas Day
• New Year's Day

you will receive double-time pay — a minimum of $50/hour.

* What You'll Do

Snow removal work may include:

• Operating a snow blower
• Shoveling snow
• Clearing designated areas
• Driving a company/work vehicle when needed
• Working as part of a snow removal crew
• Working outdoors in snow, cold, rain, sleet and other winter conditions

*Requirements

We're looking for people who:

• Have a valid driver's license
• Can provide driver's license information for our commercial auto insurance
• Have reliable transportation to Palatine, IL
• Are comfortable driving in winter weather
• Can operate a snow blower
• Can shovel snow
• Are dependable and arrive on time when contacted
• Are physically capable of performing snow removal work
• Are comfortable working outdoors in cold, snowy and wet conditions
• Have appropriate winter clothing, including a warm jacket, gloves, hat and suitable footwear
• Are willing to work holidays when snow removal is required

Previous snow removal experience is helpful but not required. We are primarily looking for people who are reliable, hardworking and ready to work when the snow comes.
