For 70 years, our agency has served children and families affected by trauma, offering services that support recovery, stability, and well-being.
Today, as an Accredited Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC), our multidisciplinary teams provide coordinated care through mental health counseling, forensic interviews, case management, and recovery support. In 2025, we expanded our behavioral health services to include adults and veterans, strengthening our ability to support individuals and families across the lifespan.

What will I do as a SUD Counselor with All Faiths?
The Substance Use Disorder Counselor plays a vital role in the Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), providing individual substance abuse counseling and facilitating group sessions. This role includes addressing co-occurring disorders in which SUD is a treatment diagnosis.
Substance Use Disorder Counselor will collaborate with other program staff, including Therapists and Client Access and Engagement Specialist within All Faiths, to ensure best client care possible. The Substance Use Disorder Counselor will also contribute to program development, evaluation, and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities and other program areas, as assigned by the Director of Clinical Services and/or Clinical Supervisor.
Education and Experience:
Required:
1. Current New Mexico License as an Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (LADAC) required.
2. Minimum of two years of experience in substance use disorder treatment, including working with individuals and/or groups.
Preferred
1. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
Specific Duties:
1. Responsible for developing and maintaining all clinical records for clients.
2. Knowledgeable and ability to deliver the Matrix Model of treatment. Provide one-on-one counseling with clients using Evidence-Based Practices.
3. Facilitate/lead therapeutic group sessions.
4. Ability to create curriculum for use in group sessions.
5. Work with Access and Engagement Coordinators to ensure client needs are being met.
6. Collaborate with other agencies to ensure access to resources for clients.
7. Retain working relationships with organizations, service providers, and other agencies.
8. Maintain a high level of professional and ethical standards.
9. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
10. Reports to Clinical Director and/or Clinical Supervisor on program development, and proposed operational changes as required.
