Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well with team members.
Responsibilities:
Client communication, appointment scheduling
· Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments
· Assist veterinary nurses with diagnostic tests, such as blood work and radiographs
· Monitor and care for hospitalized patients under nurse supervision
· Ensure a clean and organized work environment
· Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting desired
Customer service experience
· Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
· Compassion for animals and their owners
· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
