What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Administrator position at All County Foundation Property Management?
Office Administrator
Help Keep a Growing Property Management Company Organized, Responsive, and Running Smoothly
We are looking for an Office Administrator that will start out as a part-time with hopes that they will be moved into one of our full-time positions.
Monday - Friday
10am - 2pm
$17/hr.
All County Foundation Property Management is a growing residential property management company serving rental property owners throughout the Charleston-area market.
We are looking for an Office Administrator who loves organization, takes ownership, follows through, and takes pride in making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
This is not simply a receptionist or data-entry position.
The person in this role will become an important part of the operational backbone of our company. You will help keep our office organized, our communication flowing, our systems up to date, and our team focused on serving our clients.
If you are the type of person who naturally notices when something is missing, takes the initiative to fix it, and gets satisfaction from bringing order to chaos, you may be exactly who we're looking for.
The Mission
Your mission is to create an organized, efficient, and reliable administrative foundation that allows our property management team to operate at a high level and deliver an exceptional experience to our clients and residents.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role is not simply staying busy.
A successful Office Administrator will:
- Keep administrative tasks, records, and systems organized, accurate, and up to date.
- Ensure important tasks, deadlines, documents, and follow-ups do not fall through the cracks.
- Communicate effectively.
- Support the team by identifying administrative bottlenecks and helping create better systems and processes.
- Consistently follow established processes while recognizing opportunities to improve them.
- Help create an office environment that is organized, responsive, professional, and accountable.
What We're Looking For
We are less interested in finding someone with the perfect resume and more interested in finding the right person for this seat.
You may be a great fit if you are:
Highly organized. You naturally create order. You keep track of details, deadlines, documents, and moving pieces without needing someone to constantly remind you.
Reliable and accountable. If you say you are going to do something, it gets done. You take ownership rather than making excuses.
A strong communicator. You can communicate professionally and clearly, both in writing and in person. You understand that how we communicate with clients, residents, and vendors reflects on our entire company.
Detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture. You can handle the small details while understanding why the work matters.
Proactive. You do not wait around to be told about every problem. You pay attention, ask questions, and look for solutions.
Comfortable with technology. You can learn new software and systems and are comfortable working across multiple digital platforms.
Calm under pressure. Property management can be fast-moving. Priorities change, unexpected issues arise, and multiple people may need something at the same time. You can stay organized and professional when things get busy.
Committed to continuous improvement. You are always looking for a better way to do something and are open to feedback, coaching, and learning.
This Role May Not Be a Good Fit If...
- You need constant direction to know what to do next.
- You frequently struggle to stay organized or meet deadlines.
- You prefer to focus only on tasks specifically assigned to you and do not like taking initiative.
- You tend to leave projects unfinished or require repeated follow-up.
- You become easily overwhelmed when priorities change.
- You believe attention to detail is someone else's responsibility.
We believe the right person in this role will enjoy being an important part of a growing company and will take pride in helping build better systems, stronger processes, and a better experience for everyone we serve.
