All-Clad is known throughout the world for its top-of-the-line cookware. For over 50 years, we have produced quality pots and pans for home cooks and professional chefs. Our cookware is bonded, engineered, and assembled in Canonsburg, PA. We are looking for a skilled Cost Accountant to drive our manufacturing excellence through strategic cost management.
Position Overview:
The Cost Accountant is a critical member within Industrial Controlling, providing daily and monthly reports and analyzing production orders, purchase prices, capital investments, and inventory variances, which are instrumental to maintain proper controls and support decision making at All-Clad. Long-term desire to hold Industrial Controlling role.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- 5 Years of Experience: Must have substantial accounting experience in a manufacturing setting.
- SAP Proficiency: Strong skills in SAP are required to support seamless operations.
- Excel Expertise: Advanced abilities in Excel, including SUMIFs, pivot tables, and power queries, are essential for effective data analysis.
- Bachelor’s Degree: Accounting or Business Administration
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily and Monthly Reports: Analyze production orders, purchase prices, and inventory variances to maintain proper controls.
- Product Cost Management: Manage the addition of new products into SAP, ensuring accurate standard cost calculations.
- Dashboard Updates: Regularly update plant activity indicators, including labor variances and material expenses.
- Capital Projects & Inventory Control: Oversee capital investment approvals, monthly expenditure reporting, and coordinate inventory audits.
- Scrap Sales & Audit Interface: Handle the scrap sales process and collaborate with external auditors during audits.
Significant Impact:
- Manage nearly $80M in annual production costs and approximately $3M of annual capital investments.
