Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dependable 4-Car Auto Transport Driver to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting multiple vehicles, including cars and light trucks, across various routes within Wisconsin.
This position can be based within 75 miles of Milwaukee.
Duties
- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles using a 4-car auto hauler
- Complete required transport paperwork
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
- Plan efficient in-state routes and meet delivery schedules
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned truck and trailer
- Document any vehicle condition issues, damages, or delays immediately
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A CDL License OR a Class B License and willing to attend classes to get a CDL A within 6 months.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of Class A or 5 years of Class B Heavy Duty Commercial Driving Experience
- Minimum of one (1) year Multi-Car Hauling or multi-car towing experience
- Ability to drive manual transmission or willing to learn
- Clean driving record and strong work ethic
- Ability to safely load, secure, and transport vehicles
- Strong knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation systems.
- Ability to operate Rollback and Wheel lift/ self-loader
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail for safety inspections and transport
- Must be able to bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand and climb as required to secure load.
- Requires standing, stretching, walking, stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an outdoor environment.
- Good vision, including depth perception and peripheral vision, to navigate roads safely and inspect vehicles for damage or defects during loading and unloading procedures
