School Crossing Guard – Multiple Openings
Location: Kenilworth, NJ
Pay
$17.50 per hour. School Crossing Guards work before and after school, Monday through Friday, following the local school calendar. Various shifts and hours available.
Make a Difference Every School Day
Every morning and afternoon, School Crossing Guards help create a safer route for students walking to and from school. As a School Crossing Guard, you'll become a familiar and trusted presence in your neighborhood while helping children cross the street safely.
What You'll Do
- Assist students and pedestrians at designated crossings
- Help maintain safe traffic flow around schools
- Watch for changing traffic conditions
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, school staff, and drivers
- Follow all company safety procedures
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable and dependable
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Able to stand during scheduled shifts
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Applicants living in or near Clifton may be better suited for the scheduled shift times.
Schedule Expectations
This is a part-time position with shifts before and after school. Candidates seeking full-time or midday hours may not find this schedule to be the best fit.
