The Junior Project Manager will support senior leadership while gaining direct exposure to planning, scheduling, and coordinating large-scale security projects.

The Junior Project Manager will support senior leadership while gaining direct exposure to planning, scheduling, and coordinating large-scale security projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing projects in areas such as video surveillance, access control, structured cabling, fiber optics, and fire alarm systems.
- Learn to serve as a point of contact for clients and subcontractors, under the guidance of experienced Project Managers.
- Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) meetings onsite and contribute to creating a culture of safety.
- Observe and escalate safety concerns or risks immediately to senior team members.
- Support coordination with Purchasing, Field Operations, and vendors to ensure materials and labor are available when needed.
- Maintain accurate project status reports and assist in monitoring Procore Daily Reports.
- Review and interpret as-built and progress drawings, with mentoring support.
- Conduct site visits to track progress, verify quality, and gain field experience.
- Become proficient with GigWire and project management tools.
- Collaborate with General Contractors on larger projects under senior guidance.
- Adapt to varying schedules, including days, evenings, and occasional weekends, as projects require.
- Proven history of upward mobility within roles.
- Aptitude for management and leadership with some experience.
- Hands-on experience in security integration or related field strongly preferred.
- Interest in learning project management skills and growing into a leadership role.
- Familiarity with video surveillance, access control, structured cabling, fiber optics, and/or fire alarm systems a plus.
- Certifications (Milestone, Genetec, Avigilon, Bosch, Open Options, etc.) are helpful but not required.
- Familiarity with Procore or other construction software is a bonus.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills; comfort with spreadsheets and data tracking.
- Ability to read drawings or willingness to learn.
- Must be able to obtain (or test for) a DPS Security License within 90 days of employment.
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
