Role Description The Installers role is a full-time, on-site position based in Central Florida. Installers are responsible for safely transporting, assembling, and installing a variety of signage types, including illuminated and non-illuminated signs, channel letters, pylon signs, canopies, and digital displays. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting installation drawings, preparing job sites, operating hand and power tools, and using ladders, lifts, or other equipment to mount signage securely. The role involves working closely with project managers and field technicians to meet project timelines, following safety protocols, and ensuring all installations meet quality and regulatory standards. Installers may also perform basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on existing signage and interact professionally with clients at job sites.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, site plans, and installation instructions; strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools, plus experience working with ladders, lifts, and other installation equipment in outdoor and indoor environments.
- Knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles related to illuminated signage installation and troubleshooting (experience with LEDs or wiring is a plus).
- Commitment to safety practices, including use of personal protective equipment and adherence to OSHA or similar safety guidelines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with field technicians, project managers, and clients on-site.
- Reliable time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple installation tasks and meet scheduled deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to travel locally to various job sites throughout Florida.
- Physical ability to lift moderate to heavy materials, work at heights, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Prior experience in sign installation, construction, or a related trade is preferred but not required; technical or vocational training is an advantage.
