Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality coatings to a variety of industrial components and structures, ensuring they meet strict quality standards and safety protocols. Your expertise in surface preparation, coating application, and finishing will contribute to the production of durable, visually appealing products. Responsibilities
- Must be detail oriented.
- Perform pre-painting activities on parts in preparation for painting / fabrication.
- Ability to work from specifications, shop orders, drawings, and instructions.
- Work in a enclosed paint booth and mixing station.
- Follow approved processes for painting on numerous substrates / materials used in manufacturing signs (aluminum, acrylic, steel, wood, vinyl and pvc).
- Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of all equipment.
- Adhere to all required safety equipment and procedures in compliance with OSHA guidelines.
Experience
- Proven experience in industrial painting or manufacturing environments with knowledge of coating techniques such as powder coating, auto painting, or construction painting surface preparation.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and spray guns for coating applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Expert attention to detail.
- Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating with co-workers.
