Duties
- Assist with the loading and unloading of construction materials and equipment
- Prepare job sites by cleaning debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing tools
- Carry out basic tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials as directed by supervisors
- Assist skilled tradespeople with their tasks to ensure project progress
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Operate simple machinery and tools under supervision
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the project duration
Skills
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of construction safety procedures and protocols
- Good communication skills for effective coordination with team members
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not required
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for transportation to job sites
