Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supervisor / Crew Leader to oversee construction projects, manage on-site teams, and ensure the successful completion of projects in accordance with specifications, safety standards, and client expectations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with industry-standard management and scheduling software. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise construction crews to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide team activities.
- Coordinate project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software.
- Oversee quality control measures, ensuring work meets safety standards such as OSHA regulations and project specifications.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and assist with construction estimating and contracts.
- Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Ohmmeter, and HeavyBid for project documentation, measurement, and quality assurance.
- Conduct safety meetings, enforce safety protocols, and maintain a safe work environment on-site.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to resolve issues promptly.
- Supervise subcontractors and labor crews; ensure proper training in construction management practices.
- Monitor progress through site inspections, manage change orders, and document project milestones.
Experience
- Proven management or supervising experience within the construction industry.
- Extensive construction site experience with a solid understanding of project scheduling and budgeting.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6, Primavera P3, HeavyBid, Bluebeam, ProCore, and other relevant tools.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, construction estimating, quality control procedures, and OSHA safety standards.
- Familiarity with pipeline projects or heavy civil construction is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
