Towing Operator

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Tow Truck Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will safely operate tow trucks and provide roadside assistance services while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service. This position requires strong driving skills, attention to safety, and the ability to work in various weather and traffic conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Operate flatbed, wheel-lift, and/or recovery tow trucks safely
• Respond to roadside assistance calls including:
• • Vehicle towing
  • Jump starts
  • Tire changes
  • Lockouts
  • Fuel delivery
  • Winch-outs and recoveries
• Secure vehicles properly for transport
• Complete required paperwork and digital dispatch information accurately
• Maintain communication with dispatch and customers
• Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of tow trucks and equipment
• Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety procedures
• Keep trucks and equipment clean and organized
• Provide professional customer service during stressful situations

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required depending on truck type)
• Clean driving record preferred
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Previous towing experience NOT required.
