Join our dynamic team as a FTTH (Fiber to the Home) Installer and Bury Technician, where you will play a vital role in deploying high-speed fiber optic networks directly to residential and commercial customers. Duties

• Install fiber optic cables using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as bucket trucks and trenchers.
• Operate heavy machinery safely for burying cables underground or overhead installations.
• Perform fiber splicing and testing to ensure optimal signal quality and network performance.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and network blueprints for accurate cable routing.
• Climb ladders safely to access overhead infrastructure for installation or maintenance tasks.
• Connect and configure telecommunication equipment including LAN (Local Area Network), Ethernet, WAN (Wide Area Network), and low voltage systems.
• Conduct site surveys, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs on existing fiber or network infrastructure.
• Maintain detailed records of installation activities, cable routes, and test results in compliance with company standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in field service roles within telecommunication or construction industries.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as bucket trucks, trenchers, or excavators safely and efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of fiber splicing techniques, cabling standards, and electrical systems related to IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and network infrastructure layouts.
• Skilled in climbing poles or ladders; comfortable working at heights under safety protocols.
• Experience with LAN/Ethernet cabling, and low voltage wiring is highly desirable.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and construction safety practices; valid driver’s license preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot network issues on-site quickly.
