Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and motivated MovIng helpers $18-$20 per hour to start, drivers $20-$22 per hour to start and lead mover with verifiable experience $22-$26 per hour to start. we have openings for helpers, experienced LEADS, and DRIVER, all positions are required to handle furniture and boxes. LEADS oversee moving operations and coordinate a team of movers. This role is vital in ensuring efficient, safe, and professional moving and delivery services. As a Lead Mover, you will serve as a key leader on-site, guiding team members, managing logistics, and maintaining high standards of customer service. Your proactive approach will help streamline processes, enhance client satisfaction, and foster a positive team environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead dynamic moving projects while demonstrating your expertise in driving, heavy lifting, and warehouse operations.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily moving activities, ensuring timely and safe completion of jobs
- Lead by example in heavy lifting, loading and unloading items using Dollies, Handrucks and other manual techniques
- Manage route driving to optimizing efficiency
- Assist with loading and unloading house hold goods and other cargo from box trucks, containers, trailers and other commercial vehicles
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during moving operations, including proper use of equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and promptly
- Train new team members on moving techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation
- Oversee the maintenance of moving equipment and perform vehicles inspections to ensure optimal performance
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial driving, or delivery services with a focus on moving or logistics
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating box trucks, if applying as a driver.
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients during moves
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during loading/unloading tasks.
- Familiarity with equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools
- Excellent leadership skills to guide a team effectively in a fast-paced environment
