Important Position Requirement – Floater Role

This position is a "Floater" role. Candidates must be willing and able to travel between our West Palm Beach and Fort Myers locations based on business needs. A company vehicle will be provided for travel between locations; however, flexibility and willingness to work at either location are essential requirements of this position.

Please note that overnight travel is not required. Employees will travel between locations as needed and return home the same day. Applicants should be comfortable with regular travel and adjusting their work location as necessary to support operational demands.

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate will coordinate the activities and operations of the warehouse.  Repeatedly lift, load, and offload light metal products, windows, and doors.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• General Shop Labor.
• Loading/offloading light metal products and windows. 
• Assembly of our metal shutter products (some hand drilling using air drill is required). 
• Working on production line and meeting production targets 
• Directs forklift drivers as needed.
• Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of finished product as needed.
• Occasional local deliveries to job sites using company vehicle.
• Occasional pick up of supplies at local vendors using company vehicle.
• Shop cleaning and organization as needed.
• Operate company vehicles as needed.
• Make deliveries as needed.
• Performs other related duties as directed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Positive attitude.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License Valid Driver’s License.
• Two years of work experience in a warehouse/manufacturing preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. 
• Ability to move around the warehouse.

Salary : $18 - $20
