Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment for dogs while their owners are away. You will interact with a variety of breeds and temperaments, ensuring that each dog receives the attention and care they need. This position requires a love for animals, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Maintain cleanliness in the daycare area by regularly cleaning kennels, play areas, and feeding stations.
• Feed and provide fresh water to the dogs according to their specific dietary needs.
• Monitor dog behavior and report any concerns or issues to management.
• Assist with basic training exercises and reinforce positive behaviors.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' activities and needs.
• Handle heavy lifting when moving supplies or assisting with larger dogs.
• Ensure all dogs are properly checked in and out of daycare.

Requirements

• Previous experience in animal care, veterinary assistance, or dog training is preferred.
• Strong animal handling skills with a focus on safety and comfort for the dogs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with pet owners.
• Physical capability to perform heavy lifting as needed throughout the day.
• A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
