Hourly Position: Full Time

Reports To: Job Foreman or Superintendent, Construction Manager

Objective of Position: To perform quality construction carpentry as required at the job site.

Education & Experience: A HS diploma or GED is preferred. Concrete and Carpentry Team Members must be able to demonstrate concrete and carpentry skill knowledge by performance. Minimum of 1 to 2 years of prior concrete and carpentry experience along with secondary education or certifications are an added preference.

• Lead and supervise concrete finishing crews to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute concrete forms, rebar installation, and finishing details accurately.
• Operate and maintain power tools, hand tools, concrete mixers, pumps, heavy equipment, and other machinery essential for concrete placement and finishing.
• Oversee rebar installation, metal stud framing, masonry work, and other related tasks such as stucco, plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry to support structural integrity.
• Ensure proper use of safety protocols on-site; conduct regular safety inspections and enforce compliance with OSHA standards.
• Accountability to take your work from an idea to a full completed project with excellence in mind for yourself and your team members.
• Coordinate with project managers to estimate material needs, order supplies like concrete forms or flooring materials, and manage schedules effectively.
• Perform quality control checks during all phases of concrete pouring and finishing; address issues promptly to maintain high standards. Experience
• Proven experience in construction site roles with a focus on concrete finishing or related trades such as masonry or carpentry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and schematics reading.
• Skilled in rebar installation, concrete forming techniques, flooring installation, tile laying, roofing basics, restoration work, and heavy lifting.
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics to interpret project plans accurately.
• Ability to operate a vehicle to manage team to job site if necessary.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining safety standards and quality workmanship. Join us in building lasting structures with precision craftsmanship!
