Job Summary
JOB HOURS: 2 days per week and mandatory weekends. Approximately 25-30 hours per week.
**Must have valid driver's license**
Our Richland Center location is looking to hire a part-time Lumber Yard Team Member who is hardworking, positive and outgoing. Our first priority is seeing to the needs of our customers in the lumber yard. All American values courteous team members who can help the customer locate the product(s) they need and then load them up promptly and safely.
This is a physically demanding job that requires heaving lifting up to 100 lbs., involves repetitive movements, and standing for long periods of time (up to 2 hours).
Our full-time Lumber Yard Team Members are required to work every other weekend and must be willing to work some evenings. On weekends we pay an additional $2 per hour!
Store Hours: Monday-Friday 7am to 7pm, Saturday 8am to 5pm, Sunday 9am to 5pm.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Loading/unloading delivery vehicles
- Keeping product rotated and stacked
- Shipping and receiving
- Good housekeeping
- Provide excellent customer service
- Help customers find the location of products
- Answer customers’ questions and provide information on company policies
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. CDL a PLUS!
- Skills- Problem solver, detail-oriented, outstanding customer service skills, excellent communication skills, actively looks for ways to help people, good driving record.
