Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Blockchain Strategist role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for partial work from home. The Blockchain Strategist will evaluate and design blockchain-based solutions to improve project tracking, contract management, payment flows, and supply chain transparency within the construction environment. Daily responsibilities include analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for blockchain adoption, and developing strategic roadmaps and implementation plans. The role involves collaborating with leadership, finance, IT, and operations teams to translate construction and financial requirements into blockchain architectures and use cases. The Blockchain Strategist will also monitor industry trends, assess relevant cryptocurrencies and platforms, prepare business cases and risk analyses, and communicate recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Blockchain and Blockchain Architecture, with experience designing or evaluating distributed ledger solutions.
- Understanding of Cryptocurrency and its applications in payments, smart contracts, and digital assets.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Solid foundation in Finance, including familiarity with project finance, cost control, or financial risk assessment.
- Experience mapping business processes and translating them into technical requirements and solution designs.
- Background in construction, real estate, supply chain, or related industries is preferred but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time across on-site collaboration and remote work.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and implementation feasibility.
