What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bid Runner / Clerical Worker position at ALL AMERICAN ASPHALT?
Job Description
Duties:
- Driving to various city halls/public agencies throughout southern California
- Fill out and deliver construction bids
- Light administrative duties including but not limited to: answering phones, searching online for projects coming up to bid, upkeep of company bid schedule (excel spreadsheet) and helping others in the office with various tasks
Requirements:
- High school graduate (or equivalent)
- Have a valid CA driver's license and clean driving record (pre-employment DMV printout will be required)
- Enjoy driving and have a decent sense of direction (in an average week a bid runner will drive 500 miles/week or more throughout 5 counties in southern ca - will be driving a company vehicle)
- Drug free (pre-employment drug screening required)
- Able to write and understand large numbers/dollar amounts
- Work well under pressure
- Able to work diligently on your own
- Experience with word, excel & outlook
- Approximately 40 hrs/wk (possible overtime) Mon-Fri
