Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in our Reston location for a medical receptionist. We are looking for an energetic and friendly addition to our team who is dedicated to promoting excellent patient experience! The medical receptionist will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including triaging a high volume of phone calls, scheduling appointments, medical records, explaining and processing patient paperwork. The medical receptionist is also responsible for completing patient registration tasks such as verifying patient's insurance and benefits, confirming patient demographics, and collecting balances or copayments. The medical receptionist must work collaboratively with other office staff, such as physicians, nurses, and other employees.

- Ability to Greet Patients with a Friendly Attitude
- Ability to Document Patient Information
- Familiarity with Medical Terminology
- Proficient in Medical Office tasks
- Ability to Work in a Fast-paced Environment
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to stay organized with great attention to detail
- Experience in an OB/GYN practice is a plus
- Being bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Willingness to travel to other locations
