Job Summary:
Atom Vibe Manufacturing is a unique manufacturer of custom shaped pillows located in Vernon Hills, IL. We are seeking a skilled full-time Sewing professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating sewing machines and creating high-quality sewn pillows efficiently and with outstanding quality. We are looking for candidates with prior experience in sewing who are ready and willing to learn all aspects of our pillow production.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to sew on straight stitch machine and overlock.
- Ensures quality by checking work before passing it to the next step in the process.
- Performs basic sewing machine maintenance to include tension adjustment, machine threading, needle and bobbin changing, stitch length adjustment and oiling.
- Ability to work at a fast pace.
- Available for, and willing to work overtime when needed.
- Proficiency in using industrial sewing machines and tools.
- Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- Experience working with a variety of fabrics and materials.
- Candidates will be cross-trained on other responsibilities within production as needed by management.
