Ultrasound Technician

Cardiovascular Sonographer

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced cardiovascular sonographer to join our team at Southwest Cardiovascular Associates (SWCVA). As a cardiovascular sonographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality ultrasound imaging services to our patients. You will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and manage cardiovascular diseases.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures to assess the heart, veins, and arteries
• Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures
• Obtain patient histories and review medical records
• Analyze ultrasound images and prepare reports
• Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care
• Maintain equipment and supplies
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cardiovascular imaging techniques
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff
  
  

Qualifications:

• Registered cardiovascular sonographer (RCS) credential
• ARDMS certification preferred
• Bachelor's degree in cardiovascular sonography or a related field
• 2 years of experience as a cardiovascular sonographer
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
