, PermanentProgeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Tech to join our team in Winchester, VA. As a leading provider of healthcare staffing solutions, we are committed to providing the highest quality of care to our patients and the best work environment for our employees.As an Ultrasound Tech, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a timely and accurate manner. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.Key Responsibilities: - Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients of all ages, including but not limited to abdominal, pelvic, obstetrical, vascular, and musculoskeletal exams- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times- Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to obtain the best possible images- Evaluate images for technical quality and make adjustments as needed- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols- Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with industry developments and advancements- Assist with maintaining equipment and supplies, and report any malfunctions or deficiencies- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their familiesQualifications: - Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field- ARDMS certification or eligibility to obtain within 6 months of hire- At least 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Tech- Knowledge of ultrasound equipment and procedures- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills- Ability to handle stressful situations and work in a fast-paced environment- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as neededWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
