Fairfax Radiology Centers — the largest radiology practice in Northern Virginia — is seeking a Breast Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech) to join our team at the Fairfax Radiology Imaging Center in Centreville.
In this role, you’ll be the calming presence when patients are at their most vulnerable. Your professionalism, empathy, and diagnostic medical sonography skills help ensure every patient has a positive experience, even during stressful moments.
About The Role
This is a full-time, benefitted position. The schedule is Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM. There are no weekends, holidays, or call. Free on-site parking is available. Ask about eligibility for a sign-on bonus!

What You’ll Do
- Perform high-quality breast ultrasound imaging and sonography exams, including screening and diagnostic studies
- Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided breast procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, and localizations
- Acquire and evaluate high-quality images for diagnostic accuracy
- Communicate breast anatomy and pathology findings to radiologists
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining professionalism and empathy
- New graduates in Diagnostic Medical Sonography are welcome
- 1 years of experience in breast ultrasound highly preferred
- Current RDMS certification required (Breast specialty preferred)
- Current BLS certification
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first mindset
