Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and professionally assess service needs
- Write clear, accurate service orders and work tickets
- Communicate repair recommendations, timelines, and costs to customers
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize and schedule work
- Track job progress and follow up to ensure timely completion
- Maintain accurate records, invoices, and service documentation
- Handle phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries
- Upsell additional services when appropriate while maintaining trust
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing questions or concerns promptly
- Previous experience as a service writer, service advisor, or in a related customer service role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with service or repair software
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Mechanical knowledge or experience in an automotive or service-related environment is a plus
- Fast-paced service department
