Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Agent to join our team at a busy dental clinic. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk.
  • Manage phone systems efficiently, answering calls promptly and addressing inquiries or directing them to appropriate staff.
  • Perform insurance verification for patients, ensuring accurate information is collected and processed.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of care plans for patients, collaborating with dental professionals as needed.
  • Utilize computerized systems for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and tracking office activities.
  • Provide medical administrative support by handling patient paperwork and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Coordinate with other departments within the dental office to ensure smooth operations and excellent patient care.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a dental office or medical office setting is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with 10 key typing and basic computer skills is essential for data entry tasks.
  • Experience with phone systems and customer service is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of insurance verification processes and care plan management will be considered an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
