As we expand, we’re seeking a Sales Leader who not only directs and develops a dynamic sales team but also leads from the front — actively driving new business, winning key accounts, and exceeding aggressive revenue goals.
Position Overview
The Sales Leader will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing sales organization while maintaining personal responsibility for major account sales. This role requires a data-driven, KPI-focused professional with deep expertise in the staffing industry, particularly in healthcare and corporate environments.
You will serve as both a player and a coach — leading your team to success while personally managing and growing high-value client relationships. The ideal candidate has a proven record of exceeding quotas, building loyal, low-turnover teams, and driving measurable growth in competitive staffing markets.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development
- Build, mentor, and retain a top-performing sales team with a focus on long-term engagement and professional development.
- Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance excellence grounded in clear KPI expectations.
- Lead by example through hands-on coaching, data-driven goal setting, and transparent communication.
Personal Sales Performance
- Carry and exceed an individual quota focused on new business acquisition and major account growth.
- Develop strategic relationships with large healthcare systems, corporate enterprises, and national accounts.
- Lead complex sales cycles, negotiate multi-site agreements, and tailor staffing solutions to meet client needs.
- Partner with internal delivery teams to ensure successful fulfillment and client satisfaction.
Strategic Sales & Growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for expanding presence in the healthcare and corporate sectors.
- Identify market trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive threats to inform sales and marketing strategies.
- Drive the team’s performance through consistent tracking of KPIs including gross margin, client retention, fill rates, and sales conversion.
Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with leadership to forecast revenue, set weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual targets, and optimize team performance against measurable benchmarks.
- Analyze performance reports to drive process improvements, strengthen client relationships, and scale high-margin business lines.
- Ensure compliance with all staffing industry regulations and client requirements.
Qualifications
- 7 years of sales experience in the staffing industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in healthcare and/or corporate staffing (administrative, clinical support, HR, finance, operations).
- Demonstrated record of winning and driving major account sales and exceeding individual and team quotas.
- Track record of building and retaining high-performing teams with low turnover.
- Deep understanding of staffing metrics and KPIs — and the ability to drive behavior through data and accountability.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA a plus).
