Role Description The Shuttle Driver is a full-time, on-site role based in Palo Alto, CA. In this position, the driver safely operates company shuttle vehicles to transport guests, employees, and visitors between designated locations. Day-to-day responsibilities include following established routes and schedules, performing basic vehicle safety checks, and complying with all traffic and company safety policies. The Shuttle Driver interacts with passengers in a professional, courteous manner, assists with boarding and exiting as needed, and provides clear information about routes and timing. The role also involves completing required logs or reports, promptly communicating any vehicle or service issues, and supporting the overall parking and transportation operation to ensure efficient, high-quality service.
Qualifications
- Commercial driving skills, including CDL Class A and Truck Driving experience, or equivalent professional driving background appropriate for shuttle operations.
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations and a strong focus on safety, compliance, and adherence to company and legal standards.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact respectfully and professionally with passengers, clients, and team members.
- Clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and ability to pass required background checks and drug screenings.
- Ability to sit, drive, and assist passengers for extended periods, including occasional lifting of luggage or mobility devices as needed.
- Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to follow schedules, instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Experience in valet, parking, hospitality, or transportation services is preferred.
