Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development for children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, nap times, and outdoor activities to ensure safety and well-being at all times.
- Foster positive behavior management strategies to guide children’s social interactions and resolve conflicts constructively.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, daily routines, and any incidents or health concerns.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's development milestones, daily experiences, and any special needs or considerations.
- Ensure the classroom environment is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies to support learning activities.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations including first aid protocols and emergency procedures.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool settings, or as a nanny or babysitter.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
- Certification in first aid and CPR to respond effectively in emergencies.
- Excellent classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment.
- Ability to engage children through creative teaching methods such as storytelling, arts & crafts, music, and movement activities.
- Compassionate caregiving skills combined with patience and adaptability to meet individual children's needs.

Pay: $14.00 - $24.65 per hour
