Class A Diesel Technician

Your Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and accurately perform repairs and maintenance on diesel engine industrial trucks.
- Diagnose and fix malfunctions according to dealership and factory standards.
- Communicate effectively with the parts department and service advisors.
- Document all work performed and ensure the vehicle is kept clean, tools, equipment and inventory managed properly.
- Participate in training programs and report any safety issues to management.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in diesel engine repair and mechanical knowledge.
- Licenses: We would like to have an applicant that has a CDL and a State Inspectors License. Either one, or both will get you to the front of the line!
- Certifications: The following certifications are not required, but will help:
- Volvo or Mack
- TICO Trucks
- Cummins B6.7
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects.
- Safety Awareness: Adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to engine exhaust fumes and weather conditions.
- Occasional handling of fluids, oils, and caustic chemicals.
- Safe operation of tools and equipment.
